First Reconciliation | Registration 2026-2027

Sundays, 9:00-10:30am | First Reconciliation is the first part of our two-year sacramental preparation program, consisting of catechesis for both parents and children. Both attend all preparation sessions, although instruction will take place separately. The preparation process is outlined below...

#1. Mass Attendance: The most important aspect of this preparation is weekly Mass attendance and is expected of all families.

#2. Emmaus Participation: Families engage in the life of the parish through attendance at our monthly, whole community faith formation program, Emmaus. For the dates, more information, and to register, visit christthekingnh.org/emmaus.

#3. Sacramental Preparation: First Reconciliation preparation meetings will take place on Sunday mornings in the All Saints Room of Barry Hall on Christ the King’s campus. This year's schedule can be found on our website.
Welcome to Sacramental Preparation at Christ the King Parish!

"Confession is an act of honesty and courage – an act of entrusting ourselves, beyond sin, to the mercy of a loving and forgiving God." - Saint John Paul II

Congratulations! This is a very important and special time in your child’s life. It is the time when your child will come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord, Father and Friend, present and eager to forgive and heal them in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Please read the "Description" section carefully and complete the form below for each child who will be receiving this sacrament. We look forward to sharing this journey with your family!
